Using our on vehicle DPF cleaning machine means we can effectively clean your vehicle's DPF without having to remove the system itself.

Vehicles with DPF’s fitted often do a regeneration while you are driving your vehicle – this burns off all the soot which has collected in your DPF. If the DPF becomes too full, or you have a fault which in turn does not allow the vehicle to do a regeneration then your vehicle will suffer from performance issues.

We can try a ‘static’ regeneration using our diagnostics machine, if this fails then usually it means a new DPF is required which can be costly, however, with our on vehicle DPF cleaning machine we can clean out all the soot and ash content in the DPF which could save you a lot of money

The process

If a static regeneration is unsuccessful then we will carry out a DPF clean.

This consists of us setting up our machine which will pump cleaner and flush through your DPF in stages. Once this is completed we will check all live data of the DPF to make sure the clean has been successful. If the clean has been successful we will add a fuel additive and diesel injector cleaner to the fuel tank.

An engine oil flush will be added to the oil and the vehicle will be run on fast idle for up to 30 minutes, after 30 minutes we will drain the oil and carry out an oil and filter change.

Once all the above has been done a road test will be carried out to confirm all repairs have been carried out successfully.
